TAGUIG CITY, Philippines — August 5, 2026 — Twala, a Philippine legal technology company, today
announced that it has been accredited by the Supreme Court of the Philippines as an Electronic
Notarization Facility (ENF). The accreditation authorizes Twala to provide electronic
notarization services nationwide under the Court's 2025 Rules on Electronic Notarization. The
accreditation marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the Supreme Court's
electronic notarization framework and advances the country's transition toward legally
recognized digital transactions.

Electronic notarization allows qualified documents to be notarized digitally in accordance with
the Supreme Court's Rules, reducing the need for in-person appearances in eligible transactions
while improving accessibility, efficiency, and security.

The recognition marks a significant milestone for Twala, whose platform combines digital
signatures, electronic notarization, identity verification, and AI-powered document lifecycle
management. Built on blockchain and public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies, Twala enables
tamper-evident, cryptographically verifiable digital transactions for high-trust use cases
across the government, legal, enterprise, and financial sectors.

Electronic notarization has been contemplated under Philippine law since the enactment of the
Electronic Commerce Act of 2000. The Supreme Court's 2025 Rules on Electronic Notarization
established the operational framework needed to implement that vision. Twala's accreditation
represents one of the first practical implementations of that framework.

The Supreme Court's ENF accreditation of Twala reflects the company's ongoing commitment to
helping modernize the Philippine legal system and improving access to trusted digital services
nationwide.

In a recent effort to further advance legal digital transformation, Twala partnered with the
Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) to empower over 50,000 lawyers nationwide with
electronic signatures, electronic notarization, and other digital legal tools. Twala has also
recently partnered with the Land Registration Authority (LRA) on a webinar on electronic
notarization, drawing more than 800 attendees from the real estate, finance, government, legal,
and business sectors.

Beyond electronic notarization, Twala continues expanding its intelligent document platform
through Twala AI, which enables organizations to generate, review, summarize, classify, and
extract information from legal and business documents.Twala AI also includes a legal research
tool trained on more than 200,000 documents, including statutes, jurisprudence, memorandums, and
circulars, designed to help lawyers and legal departments conduct faster and more thorough legal
research.

“This accreditation represents an important milestone not only for Twala, but for the broader
digital transformation of legal services in the Philippines. We are honored by the Supreme
Court's accreditation and remain committed to building secure, compliant, and accessible digital
trust infrastructure,” said Jeffrey Reyes, Co-Founder and CEO of Twala.

Twala expects electronic notarization to play an increasingly important role in digital
commerce, legal practice, government services, and financial transactions as adoption of trusted
digital identity and signature technologies continues to grow across the Philippines.
